PIONEER of Fully Automatic Membrane Filter Press

What we can offer to our customers

We will make further efforts

We will make further efforts in designing machines that help save electricity consumption and manpower. Also, we will propose improvements for existing Kurita machines.

Since its foundation in 1930

Kurita has been supporting production processes of its customers as well as attempting to conserve the global environment. By providing its machines to its customers and efficiently maintaining its organization, Kurita has been addressing three challenges to help conserve the global environment.

Know What We Can Do

What we can offer to our customers

Our filter presses have already been utilized to recover rare metals and remove harmful substances.

The intended harmful chemical substances to be removed are environment-related chemical substances covered in RoHS directives, lead and its compounds, hexavalent chromium, cadmium and its compounds. Kurita’s filter presses are conveniently used in certain processes that recover or remove substances A within environment-related substances to be controlled, that is, cadmium and its compounds, hexavalent chromium compounds, lead and its compounds, mercury and its compounds, bis(tributyl tin) oxide (TBTO), tributyl tins (TBTs) and triphenyl tins (TPTs); as well as substances B within environment-related substances to be controlled, that is, antimony and its compounds, arsenic and its compounds, beryllium and its compounds, bismuth and its compounds, nickel and its compounds, selenium and its compounds, magnesium and its compounds, copper and its compounds, gold and its compounds, palladium and its compounds, silver and its compounds, lead and its compounds, mercury and its compounds, bis(tributyl tin) oxide (TBTO), tributyl tins(TBTs), and triphenyl tins (TPTs).

Know What We Can Do

What we reflect in operating our organization

Annual electricity consumption 65,268 kW/h will be reduced to 14,400 kW/h in 5 years.

We have already been conscious about electricity consumption in our factories and offices. In 2011, we developed a 5-year project according to which we will eventually supersede existing lighting equipment with new, low consumption equipment.

We are now operating a total of 23 cars for sales and machine installation activities. We will supersede gasoline cars (1500 cc to 1800 cc classes) with hybrid vehicles. At the end of 2015, we will be operating hybrid vehicles only. The amount of CO2 emissions 5 years later by this effort will amount to 53.82 t annually.
